Tuition Assistance

Financial Aid is available through the Archdiocese of San Francisco Family Progam, The Basic Fund and our Adopt a Student Tuition Assistance program. All programs require that families demonstrate financial need by completing a Private School Aid Service Form.

Private School Aid Service is an independent company that evaluates the financial information of all applicants. They make a recommendation to Mount Carmel School as to the amount a family can afford for tuition.

Adopt a Student Tuition Assistance

Mount Carmel School is proud to be one of the few schools on the Peninsula to be able to offer its own Tuition Assistance Program called Adopt a Student. We have been blessed with many gifts, both large and smal, and are touched by the generosity of our alumni, alumni parents and parishioners.

Administered by the Pastor and the Principal, many factors in addition to financial need are considered. These factors include changes in family structure, how many children are enrolled at Mount Carmel and if older children in the family are also attending Catholic High School. Families must apply each year, and no one child receives a 100% tuition benefit.

To apply for Adopt a Student Tuition Assistance funds, you need to submit a completed PSAS form and fee directly to PSAS. Only one form is required per year per family. If you have already completed a PSAS form for a high school student, you need not complete another one for your elementary student.

Please also complete the Adopt a Student Tuition Assitance Request form and return it to the school by the due date. All applications and information provided are held in strict confidence.
