Weddings at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church

We appreciate that you are considering this parish of Our Lady of Mount Carmel as the place for your Catholic marriage. Weddings at OLMC Church are scheduled on Saturdays at 12:00 a.m. or 2:00 p.m.

Once a couple has met with the priest and they have together determined that the sacrament of matrimony is to be celebrated at Our Lady of Mount Carmel, the priest will then discuss with the couple the date and time for the ceremony. A minimum deposit of $250 will be required to secure the desired date in the calendar.

While there is no cost for the sacrament of matrimony itself, offerings are needed to cover the expenses associated with use and maintenance of the parish as well as the preparation time required for a Catholic marriage.

The basic offering for a wedding at Our Lady of Mount Carmel is $750 for currently registered parishioners and $900 for non-parishioners In addition to the use of the church and church facilities (we have a bride’s room), this contribution covers a number of meetings between the couple and the priest, the witness interviews with the priest, the preparation of all the required canonical papers, the FOCCUS assessment and the interpretation of the results, the planning of the wedding liturgy, the rehearsal evening, and the provision of a room where the bride and her attendants may prepare themselves.

Further detailed information concerning flowers, decoration, photography, etc. will be provided after the initial interview with the priest once it is determined that a marriage will take place and a date for the ceremony is secured.

Bodas en la Parroquia de Nuestra Señora de Monte Carmelo

Agradecemos que considere esta parroquia de Nuestra Señora de Monte Carmelo para celebrar su matrimonio Católico. Las bodas en la iglesia Monte Carmelo se celebran los sábados a las 12:00 a.m. mediodía o a la 2:00 de la tarde.

Una vez que la pareja se ha reunido con el sacerdote y juntos hayan determinado que el sacramento del matrimonio será celebrado en San Kevin, el sacerdote con la pareja programará la fecha y hora de la ceremonia. Se requiere un depósito mínimo de $250 para poder asegurar la fecha deseada en el calendario.

Aunque celebrar el sacramento del matrimonio no tiene un costo en si, se requiere de una ofrenda para cubrir los gastos asociados con el uso y mantenimiento de la parroquia, así como el tiempo que se requiere para la preparación de un matrimonio Católico.

La ofrenda básica de una boda en Monte Carmelo es de $750 para feligreses ya registradas o $900 para no feligreses. Además del uso de la iglesia y sus instalaciones (tenemos un cuarto para la novia), esta contribución incluye un número de reuniones entre la pareja y el sacerdote, entrevistas con los testigos y el sacerdote, la preparación de todos los papeles canónicos, la evaluación de FOCCUS e interpretación de los resultados, la planificación de la liturgia del matrimonio, la noche de ensayo, y el suministro de un salón grande con baños donde la novia y sus acompañantes pueden prepararse.
